This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which quickRyde collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of http://www.QuickRyde.com This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by QuickRyde.

How we handle personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Our Site may use "cookies" to enhance User experience. User's web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

How we use collected information
QuickRyde may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:  
To improve customer service
Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently. 
To process payments
We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service. 
To send periodic emails
We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email. 
General Use. In general, Personal Data you submit to us is used either to respond to requests that you make or to aid us in serving you better. We use your Personal Data to provide the Services; and to charge you for the Services; to facilitate the creation of and secure your Account; to identify you as a user in our system; to provide improved administration of our Website, Software, and other Services; to improve the quality of your experience when you interact with our Website, Software, and other Services; to send you a welcome e-mail to verify ownership of the e-mail address provided when your Account was created; to send you administrative e-mail notifications, such as security or support and maintenance advisories; to respond to your inquiries and requests; to send promotional or marketing communications for our products and services or those of third parties; to provide you with hardcopy or electronic newsletters, or surveys; or to solicit your feedback; to provide advertising to your browser or device; if you are Passenger User, to collect credit card payments; and, if you are a Driver User, to check your background and to payments to you.
Contacts In Location Information: 
When you use the Services for transportation or delivery, we collect precise location data about the trip from the QuickRyde application or website. 
If you permit the quickride application or website to access location services through the permission system used by your mobile operating system (“platform”), we may also collect the precise location of your device when the application or website is running in the foreground or background. We may also derive your approximate location from your IP address. formation: If you permit the QuickRyde application or website to access the address book on your device through the permission system used by your mobile platform, we may access and store names and contact information from your address book to facilitate social interactions through our Services and for other purposes described in this Statement or at the time of consent or collection.
Transaction Information:
 We collect transaction details related to your use of our Services, including the type of service requested, date and time the service was provided, amount charged, distance traveled, and other related transaction details. Additionally, if someone uses your promo code, we may associate your name with that person.
Usage and Preference Information: We collect information about how you and site visitors interact with our Services, preferences expressed, and settings chosen. In some cases we do this through the use of cookies, pixel tags, and similar technologies that create and maintain unique identifiers. Device Information:
We may collect information about your mobile device, including, for example, the hardware model, operating system and version, software and file names and verions, preferred language, unique device identifier, advertising identifiers, serial number, device motion information, and mobile network information.
Call and SMS Data: 
Our Services facilitate communications between Users and Drivers. In connection with facilitating this service, we receive call data, including the date and time of the call or SMS message, the parties’ phone numbers, and the content of the SMS message.
Log Information:
 When you interact with the Services, we collect server logs, which may include information like device IP address, access dates and times, application or website features or pages viewed, application or website crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and the third-party site or service you were using before interacting with our Services.

Important Information about Platform Permission
Most mobile platforms (iOS, Android, etc.) have defined certain types of device data that application or websites cannot access without your consent. And these platforms have different permission systems for obtaining your consent. The iOS platform will alert you the first time the QuickRyde application or website wants permission to access certain types of data and will let you consent (or not consent) to that request. Android devices will notify you of the permissions that the QuickRyde application or website seeks before you first use the application or website, and your use of the application or website constitutes your consent. Sometimes these permissions require more explanation than the platforms themselves provide, and the permissions we request will change over time, so we’ve created these pages to serve as authoritative and up-to-date resources for our users.
 Creation of Anonymous Data: We may create Anonymous Data records from Personal  Data by excluding information (such as your name) that makes the data personally identifiable to you. We use this Anonymous Data to analyze request and usage patterns so that we may enhance the content of our Website, Software and other Services. We reserve the right to use Anonymous Data and disclose such Anonymous Data to third parties in our discretion.
 Feedback: If you provide feedback on any of our Website, Software or other Services to us, we may use such feedback for any purpose, provided that we will not associate such feedback with your Personal Data. We will collect any information contained in such communication and will treat the Personal Data in such communication in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Disclosure of your personal data
 Affiliates. We may share some or all of your Personal Data with any parent company, subsidiaries, joint ventures or other companies under common control with the Company (collectively, “Affiliates”), in which case we will require our Affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy. If another company acquires the Company or our assets, that company will possess the Personal Data collected by it and us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your Personal Data as described in this Privacy Policy.
Other Disclosures: Regardless of any choices you make regarding your Personal Data (as described below), Company may disclose Personal Data if it believes in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to (a) comply with relevant laws or to respond to subpoenas or warrants served on Company; or (b) protect or defend the rights or property of Company or users of the Website, Software or other Services. 

Information We Collect From Other Sources
We may also receive information from other sources and combine that with information we collect through our Services. For example: If you choose to link, create, or log in to your QuickRyde account with a payment provider (e.g., Google Wallet) or social media service (e.g., Facebook), or if you engage with a separate app or website that uses our API (or whose API we use), we may receive information about you or your connections from that site or app.
If your employer uses one of our enterprise solutions, such as QuickRyde for Business, we may receive information about you from your employer.
 When you request on demand services, our Drivers may provide us with a User rating after providing services to you.
 If you also interact with our Services in another capacity, for instance as a Driver or user of other application or websites we provide, we may combine or associate that information with information we have collected from you in your capacity as a User or rider.

Use Of Information
We may use the information we collect about you to: Provide, maintain, and improve our Services, including, for example, to facilitate payments, send receipts, provide products and services you request (and send related information), develop new features, provide customer support to Users and Drivers, develop safety features, authenticate users, and send product updates and administrative messages;
Perform internal operations, including, for example, to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services; to troubleshoot software bugs and operational problems; to conduct data analysis, testing, and research; and to monitor and analyze usage and activity trends;
Send or facilitate communications (i) between you and a Driver, such as estimated times of arrival (ETAs), or (ii) between you and a contact of yours at your direction in connection with your use of certain features, such as referrals, invites, split fare requests, or ETA sharing;
Send you communications we think will be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news, and events of QuickRyde and other companies, where permissible and according to local applicable laws; and to process contest, sweepstake, or other promotion entries and fulfill any related awards;
Personalize and improve the Services, including to provide or recommend features, content, social connections, referrals, and advertisements. We may transfer the information described in this Statement to, and process and store it in, the United States and other countries, some of which may have less protective data protection laws than the region in which you reside. Where this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Statement. 

Sharing Of Information
We may share the information we collect about you Through Our Services
We may share your information: With Drivers to enable them to provide the Services you request. For example, we share your name, photo (if you provide one), average User rating given by Drivers, and pickup and/or drop-off locations with Drivers;
 With third parties to provide you a service you requested through a partnership or promotional offering made by a third party or us;
 With third parties with whom you choose to let us share information, for example other apps or websites that integrate with our API or Services, or those with an API or Service with which we integrate; and With your employer (or similar entity) and any necessary third parties engaged by us or your employer (e.g., an expense management service provider), if you participate in any of our enterprise solutions such as quickryde for Business.

OTHER IMPORTANT SHARING
We may share your information: With QuickRyde subsidiaries and affiliated entities that provide services or conduct data processing on our behalf, or for data centralization and / or logistics purposes;
With vendors, consultants, marketing partners, and other service providers who need access to such information to carry out work on our behalf;  In response to a request for information by a competent authority if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or is otherwise required by, any applicable law, regulation, or legal process;
 With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our User agreements, Terms of Service, or policies, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of QuickRyde or others;
In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, consolidation or restructuring, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by or into another company;If we otherwise notify you and you consent to the sharing; and In an aggregated and/or anonymized form which cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Social Sharing Features
The Services may integrate with social sharing features and other related tools which let you share actions you take on our Services with other apps, sites, or media, and vice versa. Your use of such features enables the sharing of information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you establish with the social sharing service. Please refer to the privacy policies of those social sharing services for more information about how they handle the data you provide to or share through them.

How do we secure your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. Our Site is also in compliance with PCI vulnerability standards in order to create as secure of an environment as possible for Users.

Do we share your personal information?
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

Third parties
Personal and/or Anonymous Data Collected by Third Parties. Our provision of a link to any other website or location is for your convenience and does not signify our endorsement of such other website or location or its contents. When you click on such a link, you will leave our Website and go to another site. During this process, another entity may collect Personal Data or Anonymous Data from you. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for, these outside websites or their content. Please be aware that the terms of this Privacy Policy do not apply to these outside websites or content, or to any collection of data after you click on links to such outside websites.
Ads on QuickRyde
We may share certain information such as your location, browser and cookie data and other data relating to your use of our Services with our business partners to deliver ads that may be of interest to you. We may allow third-party ad servers or ad networks to serve advertisements on the mobile app or our Website. These third-party ad servers or ad networks use technology to send ads or ad links directly to your browser or mobile device and will automatically receive your IP address when they do so. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, device identifiers, location data, and clear GIFs) to compile information about your browser’s or mobile device’s visits and usage patterns on the Services, and to measure the effectiveness of their ads and to personalize the advertising content.
Background Check If you are a Driver User, you expressly consent to the sharing of your Personal Data with the third parties you list as references during the registration process for the sole purpose of the Company performing a background check on you.
 Disclosures to Other Users. (a) To provide you the Service, the Software tracks the GPS location of the handheld mobile device on which the Software is installed. If you are a Driver User, such GPS information will be disclosed to other Driver Users and Passenger Users of the Services. If you are a Passenger User, such GPS information will be disclosed to other Driver Users and Passenger Users of the Service that you select to receive such GPS information, including, without limitation, any Driver User you hail until you select not to disclose such information to them or until the Driver User picks you up (as applicable). 

If you are a Passenger User and you have associated a phone number with your Account (defined below), your phone number may be disclosed to other Driver Users and Passenger Users of the Service that you select to disclose your phone number to, including without limitation, any Driver User you hail until you select not to disclose such information to them or until the Driver User picks you up (as applicable). 

The Service allows Passenger Users to hail a vehicle from select commercial locations (e.g., a Dunkin Dounut). If you are a Passenger User and select a commercial location, we will disclose the commercial location to other Driver Users and Passenger Users of the Service that you select to disclose your commercial location to, including without limitation, any Driver User you hail until you select not to disclose such information to them or until the Driver User picks you up (as applicable). 

 You expressly consent to our collection, disclosure, and use of such GPS location, phone number, and commercial location (as applicable) as described above.
Your California Privacy Rights
California law permits residents of California to request certain details about how their information is shared with third parties for direct marketing purposes. QuickRyde does not share your personally identifiable information with third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes unless you provide us with consent to do so.

Changes to this privacy policy
QuickRyde has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time.  We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms
By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and   Term Of Service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
